Welcome to Rooh Rakhi! The following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Rooh Rakhi website located at [roohrakhi.com] (the “Site”) and any and all services, content, and products available through the Site. By accessing, browsing or using any part of the Site, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with Rooh Rakhi and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of the Terms, then you may not access the Site or use any services.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Amendments

By visiting our Site – Rooh Rakhi and/or purchasing rakhi from us, you are engaging in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the Terms, including any additional terms and policies referenced herein or available by hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the Site, including browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and contributors of content.

Please be aware we may change the price of any rakhi and we may update the Terms & Conditions at any time without notice. The content on our web pages is for your general information and use only and is also subject to change without notice. You are accepting the changes made automatically by using the Site after any change occurred.

2. Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow your minor dependents to use this Site.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including, but not limited to, copyright laws). You must not transmit any worms, viruses, or any destructive code. Any breach or violation of these Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

3.Products & Services

Rooh Rakhi specializes in serving both the domestic and international community by offering a unique and wide range of Rakhis and celebratory products online and is available for shipping in India.

  • Product Descriptions & Accuracy: We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all product descriptions, images, and prices on the Site. We assure you about the completeness, correctness, accuracy, reliability, or use of any information on the Site. Also, images of floral arrangements are representative in nature; actual items will only be rakhi, or rakhi hampers, and arrangements and accessories are not included unless specified.
  • Pricing: All prices shown on the Site are in Indian Rupees (INR) or as otherwise specified. For our international customers, your bank or card issuer will determine the current exchange rate (including foreign transaction fees). The price that you pay includes taxes, our service fees, shipping fees, and all other commissions. Our price for products may change at any time and without notice.
  • Availability & Substitutions: We will offer you the rakhis as per the availability. We can limit the sale of our products or Services to any person, any geographic region or jurisdiction. We will attempt to send Rakshabandhan gifts, Rakhis, chocolates, and thalis as shown.
  • Order Acceptance: Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not indicate our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We are not obligated to accept your order and may, in our sole discretion, decline or accept your order for any reason, irrespective of whether we confirm the order or have received payment for it. We reserve the right to cancel your order for any reason and at any time, without providing a reason for the cancellation and we will refund the amount paid for such orders within 15 working days.

4. Order placement and payment

  • Order Process: You may place an order by choosing the rakhis you wish you purchase and completing the checkout process. It is your responsibility to provide correct and valid shipping information before placing your order, including correct delivery addresses and full recipient information.
  • Payment: You may pay with one of the supported payment methods including credit/debit cards, net banking etc., as available and displayed on the Site – roohrakhi.com. All payments are processed through a secure, accredited third-party payment gateway (Razorpay) and we never store your full payment card details on our servers.
  • Credit Card Fraud: We will not be liable for any credit card fraud that is incurred on our website. Users may only purchase using their own cards, and users are fully responsible for the use of fraudulent credit cards.
  • International Orders: We accept orders from customers from outside India wishing to order for delivery within India. International orders must be paid for at the time of placing the order. For international orders, the recipient is liable for the payment of any local government taxes, duties, or customs duties possibly due upon delivery.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Delivery Locations and Service Areas: We offer delivery services throughout India. If the courier/post service you select does not provide service to the destination, we will select another service to deliver your products.
  • Order Processing: Orders are processed on a First In, First Out (FIFO) basis. Accordingly, if your order is received a little late- for example, closer to the occasion date – there is a possibility it can only be delivered on the next working day, or later. We do not accept any responsibility for deliveries of this nature. Orders received after 12 o’clock PM (in IST) will be shipped on the next working day.
  • Delivery Timeframes: The estimated delivery timeframes are only estimates. We use highly reputable third-party courier companies, and will do our best to meet the quoted delivery dates. However, delays do happen from time-to-time, which we cannot control. We do not accept any responsibility for delays that occur for third-party post/courier issues relating to this, and do not provide refunds in circumstances of this nature.
  • Shipping details & changes: It is the customer’s responsibility to input their correct shipping details before they click “order”.  Once an order leaves our facility, we cannot change or update shipping details, and we cannot redirect it to another address.
  • Not home to receive: If a courier service arrives and the recipient is not home, the courier service may leave the product at the letterbox, doorstep, or leave a calling card for the recipient to contact the courier company and re-arrange delivery or pick up of the order.
  • Delivery hours: All deliveries are during the daytime, generally from 9:00 am and 5:00 pm IST  on working days only. No orders are delivered on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, rakhi delivery in India is available only on working days.
  • Limitations on delivery: All courier/post services can only deliver to residential or business addresses, and cannot deliver across the street to a wedding hall or function hall.
  • Force Majeure: We will not be accountable for any delay or non-delivery of an order due to circumstances beyond our control. Examples of such circumstances mean heavy rainfall, all natural disasters (floods, fires, earthquakes) as well as war, pandemic, acts of God, or any other unforeseen circumstances. We will also not be accountable for any delays that are due to shipping partners beyond our control or stated shipping times.

6. User Accounts & Security

You may have to create an account to access certain content on the Site. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and are fully responsible for all uses of your account, including all actions taken under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

7. Order Tracking & Non-Delivery

  • Tracking numbers: We provide tracking numbers only for trackable orders.
  • Responsibility of the Customer for Tracking: If you order rakhi online at roohrakhi.com, the customer is responsible for tracking their order online via the website of the third-party post/courier company. Order information is only updated when shipped or delivered. If you do not see an order update of any type in your order status within twenty-four (24) hours of when it was shipped, it is your responsibility to inform us at info@roohrakhi.com.
  • Reporting Non-Delivery: If the customer does not receive the product within seven (7) days of the shipment date, then the customer must contact us by email info@roohrakhi.com.

8. Returns, Replacements & Refunds

By placing your order you are agreeing to the terms of our Return & Refund Policy. The below points provide additional clarification of the various matters relating to this section:

  • Product Defects/Damage: The user/sender must report any product defects/damage on product acceptance within 12 hours of receipt of the products, failing which the products will be deemed as having been used, and will not warrant a replacement. You must share an opening video and show the defect as a video/photograph (along with product opening video).
  • Exchange/Returns Charges: The user is responsible for paying the courier and/or other charges incurred for the exchange/return of the products.
  • Customer Mistakes & Redelivery: We will not under any circumstances refund a customer due to mistakes or omissions on the part of the customer (including, but not limited to, incorrect/incomplete delivery address, recipient unreachable, delivery attempted, or customer fail to collect from local collection point).

Should an order be returned to us for the above reasons, the user is responsible for direct re-delivery costs, amounts incurred as part of the initial shipping, and the costs associated with the returned items.

Unshipped Orders: In the very rare circumstance that an item will not be delivered (for example, no courier service available to that location, or delivery not possible), we will refund the amount of unshipped orders. Refunds can take up to 10-15 working days for the amount made in your account.

9. User Conduct & Responsibility

  • Authentic Information: The user undertakes to provide correct and authentic information. We may take steps to confirm any information provided by the user, and may disallow any user from using this website or reject/cancel registration without providing any reason for that decision.
  • Minimum Age: You must confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or you have a parent or legal guardian’s consent, to use this site.

10. Complaints after 10 days

Complaints after 10 days from the Order Date or the Shipment Date, whichever is later, will not be honored. For any order disputes, you must send us a formal email about your complaint to info@roohrakhi.com.

11. Complimentary Extras

We send rakhi packing boxes, sweet box/chocolate box (in case of hampers) and printed greeting cards as complimentary extras with all Rakhi gift orders. We cannot issue a refund for missing complimentary products. Complementary extras cannot be claimed for missing items, or re-shipping of otherwise free, or non-missing & exactly what is shown in the photos we provided, as well as correct delivery addresses. We will send your message on the packing slip as you provided to us; we do not send a separate greeting card for this.

12. Third Party Information

There are third parties that we work with and we make no warranty or guarantee regarding the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness, or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. By indicating the information and materials may contain mistakes and/or errors, we disclaim liability for such mistakes and/or errors, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this Site, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations and software, are the property of Rooh Rakhi or its content suppliers, and are protected by Indian and international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this Site is the exclusive property of Rooh Rakhi.

Material including design, layout, look, appearance, product images, and graphics is owned by us or licensed to us and may not be reproduced other than by the copyright notice which is part of these terms and conditions. Trademarks reproduced on the website, which are not the property of, or licensed to the operator, are acknowledged.

You shall not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the Service is provided, without express written permission by us. You should be aware that unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
