Rooh Rakhi is happy to ship your selected Rakhis online, Rakhi sets, and Rakhi hampers to your loved ones in India. The purchase of your special Rakhi gifts and their shipment is covered in this Shipping Policy.
1. Our Products
We deal only in the online sale and delivery of Rakhis, Rakhi sets, and Rakhi hampers. We do not carry out any other gifting occasions or products.
2. Delivery Areas
We can deliver to all major cities and towns in India. If you have chosen a courier/post service that does not service a particular destination, we reserve the right to choose an alternative reputable delivery service to deliver your products.
3. Order Processing Time
- Standard Processing: All orders are processed on a First In, First Out basis.
- Cut-off Time: Orders that are received after 7:00 PM IST (Indian Standard Time) will be processed and shipped on the next working day.
- Late Orders (Near Raksha Bandhan): If your order was received late, especially near Raksha Bandhan, there may be a chance it may be shipped out on the next working day or later due to a large volume of orders that time of year. We will not be liable for such late deliveries in such circumstances.
4.Delivery Options & Time Frames
We offer the following delivery options for your Rakhi orders:
Standard Delivery:
Delivery time: 3-10 working days from the time of dispatch depending on the delivery location.
This is our most economical option which gets your Rakhi gifts delivered in as timely manner as possible. Here, we offer FREE Shipping on prepaid orders and ₹40 for Cash on Delivery orders.
Express Delivery:
Delivery time: 1-3 working days from the date of dispatch depending on the delivery location. Use this method if you want your Rakhi gifts to arrive quicker. Here, an additional cost of ₹500 is charged.
Important Notes:
- We do not provide same-day delivery.
- Delivery time frames are estimates. Depending on local conditions, your delivery time may be extended due to things out of our control (e.g. problems with the courier company’s logistics, weather, local disturbances).
- In high demand seasons, or days directly prior to Raksha Bandhan, even express deliveries may take longer than usual because higher volume of orders exist across logistics networks.
5. Our Shipping Partners
We use a responsible set of third-party courier and postal companies that are respected, and reliable to assist us with making sure your Rakhi gifts arrive safely. We will do everything to stick to our estimated delivery dates/time frames, but please keep in mind that delays can happen through our third-party post/courier companies due to things out of our control as well, and we will not accept any liability to any delays experienced by a third-party post/courier company, and we will not provide a refund for those reasons alone.
6.Shipping Fees
If any shipping fees for Standard or Express Delivery are applicable, this will be clearly displayed and calculated at checkout, prior to completing the order. The total amount you pay does include all applicable taxes, our charges, your shippers charges, along with any other commissions, are all included in the total price.
7. Providing Accurate Shipping Information
It is the customer’s sole responsibility on their order form to provide accurate, complete and authentic shipping information. This includes the complete name of the recipient, the recipient’s delivery address and a phone number where the courier service can reach the recipient.
Updates After Shipping: We cannot update, change or amend shipping information after the order is shipped. We also do not redirect orders shipped with a courier company to another address.
8. Recipient’s Availability
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the recipient is at the provided delivery address to accept the order.
If the recipient is not at home at the time of delivery or is not available at an address, the courier may (at their option) leave the product in a safe place (e.g., leave item in the mailbox, leave item at the front door step), or leave a card for the recipient to contact the courier company to either arrange for re-delivery or for the recipient to pick up their order from a local collection point.
Non-Delivery Due to Recipient’s Unavailability: We cannot be responsible for delays, or the product not being delivered, due to the fact the recipient was unavailable or who did not pick up the product from the collection point in sufficient time.
9. Order Tracking
- Tracking Number: We issue tracking numbers for specific rakhi orders.
- Customer Responsibility to Check Tracking Status: Although we provide tracking based information, it is the customer’s responsibility to monitor the status of their order online on the third-party post/courier company’s website using the tracking number provided. The website receives real time updates and the status of the order would only be updated after it has been shipped.
- Reporting Non-Updates: If an order shows no updates after 24 hours of receiving the shipping confirmation for your order, it is your responsibility to alert us of this immediately.
- Reporting Non-Delivery (General): If you do not receive your product within 7 days from the date it has been shipped, you must email us at info@roohrakhi.com. We cannot assume any responsibility for non-delivery of your items to you at the end of 7 days, as we would have to rely on your advice to complete an investigation with our shipping partners.
